I spend much time foraging for treasures amongst tumbles of seaweed along the Scottish shoreline. I get lost in the beauty and wonder of its immensely variable, complex structures, array of colours and textures. I research the ocean habitats of the species I have preserve, the seaweed works echo something of the multi-faceted, dreamlike, deeply hidden, underwater worlds, through the relationship between woven fibres and these sea jewels.
