I spend much time foraging for treasures amongst tumbles of seaweed along the Scottish shoreline. Seaweeds are immensely variable, complex structures, found in arrays of colours and textures. My seaweed works echo the ocean habitats of the species I preserve, through the relationship between woven fibres and these sea jewels.

The spatial divide is double sided with enamelled copper and reed forming the front and chenille on the reverse.
